Welcome to the New Tech of the Hub

January 6, 2012

Just in time for CES, we’re launching a new version of Tech of the Hub. As you can see, the web site has a totally new look and feel. Say good bye to earth-tones. Say hello to our new kick-ass logo exuding energy. The new site features a summary of the latest posts on the front page for easier reading. We’re adding featured content areas to make it easier to find the answer to questions. Our first featured area summarizes all of our posts on  ”Finding the Best Netflix Player.” We’ll have additional features in the future. Topic areas are also summarized on the handy top menu bar.

Our old site was hosted on Blogger, which served us well for two years. Blogger is great if you need to get up and running with a minimal amount of effort. Now, we’ve grown beyond Blogger and the new site is built with WordPress, hosted on our own Tech of the Hub server.

I would be remiss without thanking Scott Sugiuchi of Exit 10 Advertising, who designed the new logo. The logo gives the site a distinctive look and feel and does a great job of expressing what Tech of the Hub is all about.

As always, feel free to share comments and let us know if you have any issues.

Onward to CES 2012!!

Nice update, it looks good.  I’ve been using WordPress since I started Gizmo Lovers, so if you run into any issues feel free to hit me up and I’ll help if I can.

Thanks MegaZone. The offer is appreciated, I might need some recommendations on plug-ins down the road. The conversion from blogger was more challenging than I thought it would be (required a little custom code) but I’m glad it’s done.
